You and Whose Army? is all about the conflict and each of these films deals with the immediate, short term and long term effects of worlds being torn apart.   There is comedy to be found here in stories which address the subject with an eye on absurdity or oblivious youth but there’s also elegantly presented tragedy and devastation.
